The questions clients ask most often.
01What happens after the site goes live?
You get a support window straight after launch, and after that you can stay on a care plan or take it in-house. Care plans cover updates, backups, uptime monitoring and a set number of change requests each month. Nothing is held hostage either way — the site, the accounts and the licences are yours.
02How will it behave on a phone?
It is tested, not assumed. I check real breakpoints from 320px upwards on actual devices, not just a browser resize, and I watch tap-target sizes, font scaling and load time on a mobile connection. Most of your visitors will arrive on a phone, so that is where the build gets the most attention.
03Is SEO part of the build, or an extra?
Yes — the technical side is built in, not sold as an extra. That means clean heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, schema markup, XML sitemaps, fast Core Web Vitals and crawlable internal links. Content and backlinks still need ongoing work, and I will tell you honestly which parts sit outside the build.
04What do you need from me to start?
Less than you think. Your logo and brand assets if you have them, access to your domain and hosting, any copy or images you want used, and thirty minutes on a call to agree the scope. If you do not have copy or images yet, say so on the call — I can work from a structure and fill the gaps as we go.
05I already have a website — do I need a funnel too?
A funnel is the path from first click to booked call, with nothing left to chance in between. Instead of a page that just describes you, a funnel qualifies the visitor, answers the objection, captures the contact and follows up automatically. Websites inform; funnels convert. Most businesses need both, doing different jobs.
06Which platforms do you build on?
Whatever fits the job, which is the advantage of not being a single-platform shop. Usually GoHighLevel for funnels and CRM, WordPress or WooCommerce when you need ownership and control, Shopify for retail operations, and n8n, Make or custom APIs to connect the pieces. I will recommend against a tool you already pay for if it is the wrong fit.
07Who owns the domain and hosting?
I set both up and configure them properly — DNS, SSL, email records, staging and backups — but I register them in your name, on your account. You keep ownership and billing. If you would rather I manage hosting for you, that can be part of a care plan, and you can move it away whenever you want.
08Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes, and I make sure you can. You get a walkthrough video, written documentation for anything non-obvious, and an editor setup where changing text or images cannot break the layout. Clients routinely handle their own content updates afterwards and only come back for bigger structural work.
